Money Isn’t The Problem, You Are
Do you live in a constant state of difficulty around money? Whether it’s spending too much, not having enough or having too much? I’ve had plenty of so-called money problems and up until developing the tools of Access Consciousness I had done so many courses on money that I went cross-eyed at the idea of taking another money class. In the end none of the money classes I took changed anything about the way I approached money, I still had the same “money problems.” What I came to realize was that until you change your point of view and beliefs about money, your money situation cannot change. This is because even if you are “doing” all the tricks you’re taught, you’re still functioning from the underlying limitations that stopped you from having money in the first place! So how can you change your point of view? You can start by asking a question. A question will always open you up to receiving more possibilities from the Universe. Start asking “if money weren’t the issue, what would I choose here?” for everything money related. When we stop making money the reason we make the choices we do, our life can start to expand! This question will also begin to give you awareness of what your points of view about money actually are. To change these points of view say to yourself “Interesting point of view, I have this point of view” three to thirty times or until it no longer feels heavy or stuck in your universe. The natural state of things here on planet Earth, contrary to everything you’ve been told, is abundance. Look at the trees, the birds, the sunshine and the rain … there is always abundance somewhere! Most of us have been taught that abundance isn’t the case, and then we go on to judge and punish ourselves for everything we have done wrong with our financial situation. What does this create – abundance or more limitation? You know!! Would you be willing to stop beating yourself up now? What if something else is possible? What if your money problem has nothing to do with money but with what you’re unwilling to receive? This was the idea that turned my personal money flows around. Having worked with tens of thousands of people around the world, whether they have $10 in their pocket or $1 million in their bank account, I have discovered they all have the same issue – it has nothing to do with money, it has to do with what they’re unwilling to receive. Learning to receive is the greatest thing you can do. The limitation of money is based on what you’re unwilling to receive. Once you start being more willing to receive you may find your money flows start to flow! I know you are thinking “If someone gave me money I would receive it! I don’t have a receiving problem!” This is where it gets really fun and interesting. Abundance is not just about receiving money. It’s about receiving everything in the universe, without a point of view. Consciousness includes everything and judges nothing. So, every time you judge something, you are not receiving it. Every time you make yourself wrong, small or pathetic, you are not receiving the magnificence of you that you truly be. Every time you resist or react to a person or a situation, you are not receiving all of the possibilities available. Every time you are in a fantasy world of winning the lottery, without ever buying a lottery ticket, rather than asking a question about what else could the universe contribute to you, you are not receiving! Every time you say “I can only be happy if….” you are not allowing the universe to gift something greater to you. Are you starting to become aware of how many areas of your life you cut off receiving? It’s surprising … and it’s also surprisingly easy to change! A tool you can start using straight away is to say the Access mantra ten times in the morning and ten times at night: All of life comes to me with ease, joy and glory! Glory is the exuberant expression and abundance of life. Are you willing to demand that more of that show up in your life? Another way to invite money into your life is to ask the universe “Can I have the money now please?” Most of us aren’t willing to ask for anything. “Ask and you shall receive” is a universal truth – are you willing to ask for more money than you could ever spend to show up? What could change if you did?
