Winter is the time of year when nature retreats. This retreat by no means portends death or defeat. Rather, nature utilizes this time for rest; to rejuvenate and regenerate, preparing to spring forth with new life.
Because we are intrinsically connected to the seasonal cycle, it is in our nature to take a step back during the cold, winter months. As the days get shorter and we spend more time indoors, we need to
slow things down a bit and go “within.” This is our time for reflection and self-assessment, readying ourselves to meet
the next season with renewed vigor and sense of purpose.
