Our Walk
From the Editors
May each of us feel your Peace within us every day.
May each of us choose to stay in that Peace, no matter what happens around us…
May we each honor and respect each other’s choices, beliefs, differences and recognize our commonalities, our Oneness.
As we are that Peace now,
the World is Peace Now!
From Peace Now!
by Maria Kramer-Robinson, Hicksville, NY
Our cover title encourages us to “consider the other side.” Perhaps we would all be best served by taking a good look at the many aspects of an issue, before making a final determination. Forsake the knee jerk reaction; instead replace it with reflection and consider the views of others.
As this is our “Back to School” issue, let’s put this lesson to the test. Why don’t we consider Peace—just for the sake of Peace? Consider the inter-connectedness of everything. Really consider that we all originate from One Source. Does that not drastically alter our relationship to all life forms.
Many choose to sit back and wait for their governments to bring about Peace. You’ll be waiting forever for that to happen. For centuries, governments the world over, have been in the business of waging war—it’s “good for business.” Their signature dish:“Enemy du jour.” Americans have been alternately “instructed” to hate the British, Germans, Japanese, Spanish, Russians, Vietnamese, Iranians and Iraqis. When do you suppose the Brits will make the “hit list” again? Of course, it’s beyond absurd. Peace is our choice, but it must be created within each of us, first.
Dr. Wayne Dyer tells us to Be Like Water, since we are water. Trust in the eternal flow and allow others to go where they are inclined to go, without our interference.
Little Gurus, from the DailyOm reminds us just how much we can learn from children—if we maintain our awareness. However, when dealing with teenagers, Dari Dyrness-Olsen pulls no punches with No Nonsense Rules for Teens.
Jean-Claude Gerard Koven examines the global significance of the last date inscribed on the Mayan calendar: December 21, 2012. Depending upon how seriously you are considering the ancient legends, Koven is wagering that “You’re Betting Your Life On It.”
Mike Quinsey of Great Britain, channels several entities, among them, St. Germain (Mankind at the Crossroads). St. Germain’s message is that the lessons of life, revolve around our ability to express Unconditional Love to all life forms. Regardless of your belief in the messenger, you need only to consider the message.
