Creations Poetry

Magnolia
by Katherine Gage • Larchmont, NY

Tender tree, lavish with buds,
Trembling sweet exultation,
Rising from the simple seed
Of ecstatic imagination.
Witness here the fruition
Of joy and sorrow’s embrace.
Found amid such abundance-
One white flower of singular grace.
Vision in glorious bloom,
Revel in love’s resplendence.
To bud, blossom and fade, so
Resonates the eternal essence.

Thunder Poem
by Karen Ethelsdattar • Union City, NJ

My feet secure on the ground;
thunder crashing in waves in the sky.
May the anger in my heart
be followed by the rain of compassion.

POEM
by Carol Purdy • Westbury

Rushing to the surface
of my dream
I passed you
too quickly
to wave

Haiku

Silence awakening
The seeds flowering beauty
Returning to springTwo Haiku
by Mankh, Selden
rain doesn’t stop
the cardinal from April
singing
May’s sunshine—
now all those winter months
just memory
